What is an Archive Visit?
Archive visits involve our researchers physically visiting state and territory archives across Australia to locate records not available online — including historical newspapers, land records, immigration files, court documents, and more.
⚠️ Archive Visit services are currently available in Victoria, with expansion to other states underway. Contact us to register your interest.
How long does research take?
Turnaround times vary depending on the service and complexity of your research. Digital products are delivered instantly. Custom reports are scoped individually, and your researcher will provide a timeline at the start of your project.
What information do I need to provide?
The more you can share, the better — but you don't need much to get started. Names, approximate dates, and locations are helpful. If you're unsure what you have, our 15-Minute Consultation is the perfect starting point.

What is the GenieLink DNA Comparison Tool?
GenieLink is our free DNA comparison tool designed to help you analyse shared DNA matches of 20cM and under — the range many people find difficult to interpret. Simply upload your match information and use the tool at your own pace to gain clearer insights into your DNA connections.
Is GenieLink really free?
Yes. GenieLink is completely free to use. Our goal is to make DNA analysis more accessible and help more people understand their DNA matches and family connections.
Do I need to purchase a DNA test separately?
Yes. Our tools and analysis services work with results from major DNA testing companies, including AncestryDNA, 23andMe, MyHeritage, and FamilyTreeDNA. You'll need to have already taken a DNA test and have access to your results.

Is my payment information secure?
Yes. All payments are processed securely through Shopify's encrypted checkout. We do not store your payment details.
Orders & Delivery
How are digital products delivered?
Digital products, including ebooks and downloadable resources, are delivered instantly via email after purchase. Check your inbox — and your spam folder if you don't see them within a few minutes.
What is your refund policy?
